Members of our banking and debtor/creditor law practice group assist banks, financial institutions, and other parties in a variety of financing matters including the negotiation and documentation of secured and unsecured credit facilities, mortgage loans, loan workouts, and loan restructurings. We routinely represent banks and other creditors in bankruptcies and collection proceedings, including consumer, farm and business bankruptcies and reorganizations, as well as in foreclosures, replevin actions, and debt collection litigation.
The banking and debtor/creditor law practice group also represents public and private companies, as borrowers, in the negotiation and documentation of multi-bank loan facilities, lines of credit, letters of credit, and revenue bond issues. We also advise banks and financial institutions on regulation, compliance, and audit examination issues and matters.
The banking and debtor/creditor law practice group presents legal updates and seminars annually to our clients to keep them abreast of the most recent regulatory, statutory, and case law developments in the banking and credit industry.
